I was an avid gamer growing up. E3 was definitely the time of year that I looked forward to learning about the new games that will be released. Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and other software companies would display some of their best work to get you excited and ready for the new wave of games to hit you the coming holiday season or spring of the following year. This year, we have a couple of rumors to look forward to. We know that Sony will be releasing a more powerful version of the PS4 for VR. It won’t make an appearance…

Minority Report, Total Recall, and the Fifth Element. What do all of these movies have in common? A futuristic world where people did not take control of the wheel. They were driven around by robots or auto piloted cars, and It appears that those foreseen futures are coming to life! We already know several automakers are preparing for this future. There are cars on the market now that park themselves. And we know that Apple is up to something and sure to have competitors on their heel.  So with that being said, let’s take a look at what that future…

An electric car that can save you money and go from 0-60 in 6 seconds? No not a damn Prius. Though they did have a cool Super Bowl commercial. My friends, we are talking about a Tesla. With oil and environmental concerns on the rise, we have been challenged with being creative. Tesla has made electric vehicles attractive. Tesla has been known for their high end quality car tailored to those who can afford $80,000+ (base package) cars. Recently announced however, was Tesla s model 3. This vehicle is priced much lower at $35,000. It has a driving range…

Cyber Warfare… You remember the movie Hackers? Yeah me either. I think the movie came out long before I was born. Maybe I should check it out. Either way, cyber threats are more prevalent today than ever before. There are so many different attacks out there! Sometimes you may not even know that some days you have has been compromised until 6 months later and the hacker is long gone!! Sheesh. That’s scary isn’t it? There is one attack in particular that I want to point out. These baby’s are called ransom attacks. Yes. Ransom. Have you seen the movie…

The Super Bowl is among us. The mighty Panthers plan to win what we hope to be the most lopsided win in all of Super Bowl history. So, what would it be like to watch the big game with a Microsoft HoloLens? From a pure statistical standpoint the HoloLens would be golden. As your watching Cam Newton bowl over little line backers and dab in the end zone, you wonder, just how big is this guy? Well HoloLens. Show me Cam Newton’s stats. He punches through the wall, dabs, and smiles. You stand up and walk over to him. And…

The Consumer Electronics Show is held yearly in Vegas. It’s a sneak peak into the herald of technology. Last year the show had a lot of smart watch antics. Each year of course you get the upgraded usuals. This year a TV caught my eye. The OLED see-through TV. Initially I was nonplussed by the presentation. Then the dust settle just a little. Who in the world would want a see-through tv? How would this be applicable in a home? I guess the geekiest of geeks could look at their Star Wars poster while watching Luke get his hand severed…

I’m a gadget freak. I’ll pretty much research a gadget, fall in love with it, and find a way to make the high price sound logical. I quickly found that I couldn’t keep up with myself. I’ve turned to light side of the force and have started shopping on a budget. With Christmas around the corner I usually supply the family with the best tech, but because I’m shopping for more than 2 people, I usually need to get the right price!  OPTION 1: CNET I start by browsing through CNETs Cheapskate page. On Cheapskate they usually point out very cool…

Have you been eyeing that expensive Apple Watch? Trying to decide if it’s worth it? Ask yourself this. What do I want a smart watch for? Health? Connectivity? Because it’s cool? Let me give you my experience. But before we start, understand this is an overview of my experience and my opinion. I wouldn’t say that I have driven all functionality to the max.  I recently purchased two Apple Watches For my wife and I. I have the 42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sports band. My wife has the 38mm version. From the time you open the air…
