Jerry Seinfeld is too cool in my book. I find myself on down days going to crackle, or the comedians in cars getting coffee website and just watching so many of those interviews. I like dry observational humor, it just points out how crazy people can really be, and then you laugh at it and you reevaluate yourself. Let’s get this out the way first, Tina Fey is incredibly funny, smart, weird, and beautiful as hell. With that being said she tends to always blend all those characteristics into her characters and stories. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was a show that was on my to-do list, but I must admit that after the first episode I was thinking “eh.” Then I thought back to all my favorite Tina Fey roles, and her movies and decided to give it another chance. Thanks to Netflix and my infinite love of stand-up comedy, I happened to stumble upon Trevor Noah and one of his specials “African American.” Within the first few minutes I was howling in laughter. This man brings a certain class and elegance to a country and an industry that constantly will just laugh at fart jokes. He is also the guy that Comedy Central has chosen to replace Jon Stewart on The Daily Show. Trevor Noah is the right person for the daily show and I’ll tell you why.
