These Eastern and Western Conference series finals are all but over with, and I really do believe that these are the worst conference finals in history. Never in my life have I seen two teams eyeing down being swept in a CONFERENCE FINAL. We have to acknowledge that Lebron James and Steph Curry have been on another level in these playoffs and man it’s going to be great to watch these two go at it in the finals. Sadly until then we have to muster through these conference finals. At this point and time I’m just watching just to see…

I was having a talk with my cousin and he was telling me about all his training and preparing he was doing for basketball season. I thought, that’s cool and admirable so I let him continue on. Then his mom came over and started gushing about how much he practices shooting at the gym, and how no one can take him off the court. Once again i’m internalizing my thoughts, and in my mind i’m thinking “There’s kids all across the nation that live on the basketball court, he’s not special.” But of course I didn’t say that, that’s family,…

Lebron James during this playoff run has been absolutely incredible. He’s put the game on his back, his team on his back, and his city on his back. If ever there was a time when Lebron James should have everyone’s up most respect, it would be this year during he 2015 playoffs. Kevin Love went down in the first round and a lot of fans, and sports analyst’s thought that was the blow that would stop the Cavaliers from truly advancing past the favorable bulls. Kyrie has had an underwhelming playoff run, until the last few games. Lebron has looked…

Why is everyone still talking about the deflated footballs that were used in the AFC championship game? I have to think that it’s only because the patriots organization is hated so much that everyone wants them to go down, especially Brady. Tom Brady has wrecked havoc on this league for over a decade and it seems that the whole country just wants him to go down. But lets sincerely think about how important these deflated footballs were. We are acting as though Tom Brady is the only quarterback in the NFL to try to tamper with PSI levels in the…

I’m sitting here an hour later and I still don’t know how I feel about the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight. I feel it was a good fight, Manny forced Floyd to actually have to fight and throw his hands but something in me still feels empty after the fight. The hype surrounding this fight was monumental, every big name, and even names you don’t know were there to witness this once in a lifetime bout. The lights were bright, the entrances were grand, the videos of how each fighter got to where they are, were marvelous. The bars…

As all the Michael Jordan Stan’s read this I want you to pay attention to the key words that I used “Impactful” and “to me.” I’m not saying Iverson was the greatest ever, even though there are some that would say he would’ve been, if he would’ve been able to play longer but that’s not the point. Jordan is still the man, after all he was in Space Jam, come on people, that’s legendary stuff. When I was younger I wanted to be just like Allen Iverson, he had swag, and he was crazy athletic, he changed the game…

First of all let me say this, I am a huge football fan, I played it in high school where I was all conference, and then I was blessed enough to go and play college football, and after college football I was able to try out for a few professional teams (I think my highlight reel is still on YouTube somewhere). I am a huge New England Patriots fan, and I still believe in my heart of hearts that the giants paid off every New England player seventeen million dollars each to blow that perfect season lol. With that…

The Basketball Association of America (BAA) started the first basketball season in 1946. In 1949, the BAA agreed to merge with the National Basketball League to become the National Basketball Association (NBA). At the start, there were seventeen franchises in the nation. However, in 1950 the franchises were consolidated to eleven. In 1950, the NBA became integrated, accepting the first African American players. Chuck Cooper joined the Boston Celtics, Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton joined the New York Knicks and Earl Lloyd joined the Washington Capitols. The Minneapolis Lakers won the first NBA Championship in 1950. The NBA was at its smallest…

Legendary Bulls Players I am a Chicago Bulls fan. I have been one all my life. I thought it would be appropriate to talk about the 10 greatest Bulls players of all time. These 10 players range from the 1960’s all the way to the present time. They have forever left their mark with the Chicago Bulls. This list can be argued by many, but these are the players that I think have left the biggest impact on Chicago and the Bulls team. I would now like to get into the list of players. I would like to begin my…

The Orlando Magic officially entered the NBA as an expansion franchise in 1989. A contest sponsored by Orlando Magic team officials and the local Orlando Sentinel newspaper allowed the community to suggest names for their new franchise. The contest, which drew 4,296 submitted entries, subsequently announced that the committee chose ‘The Magic’ to be the new name of the Orlando franchise in the NBA. The Orlando Magic play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team is currently coached by Stan Van Gundy, and has had such notable NBA stars as Shaquille…
