Twitter is the best thing to come around in a while. Although it gives stupid people a chance to voice their stupid opinions, It also gives hilarious people a way to spread their comedic responses. Twitter, during any kind of event, is amazing. Whether it’s when an awards show is on, or a hashtag has made its way into the twittersphere.
The hashtag has become a staple in twitter and every year we get great ones that often make us lose productivity on a work day. No one knows how any of these hashtags get started, but once they catch on it’s like setting fire to dry grass.
Twitter had another epic year for hashtags so I’m here to present you with the top 5 hashtags of the year.
Thank you twitter, all you did was take Beyonce videos and add music to it and LITTERALY showed us that queen B will never cease to amaze us. Even when she’s not trying she makes it work.
Black twitter is lively twitter, there’s always something hilarious going on and this hashtag was no exception. One thing that this helped people realize, it’s just how much everyone has in common.

This one is just plain simple. The way that people can oversimplify something is absolutely hilarious. This hashtag shows just how intelligently funny people are. We try to make things complicated, but thank god that millennials are here to bring it back down to laymen’s terms.
AND THE TOP HASHTAG OF 2015 IS!….
This hashtag literally made everyone’s work day stop. I’m sure coworkers turned around wondering just what in the hell you were laughing at. That hashtag deserved awards. It proved that black twitter could dabble in both critical race theory and wig snatching.
Twitter is epic and hashtags are the driving force behind them. 2015 was great and we can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!
